Shuka is a journalist and podcast producer in the San Francisco Bay Area. She primarily reports on the health and culture of immigrant communities in California and internationally. She’s reported for Public Radio International’s The World, BBC World News Service’s Outlook, KQED Public Radio in San Francisco, Stanford University’s Philosophy Talk, Vice Magazine, and more. In 2017 Shuka hosted, produced and reported West of Middle East, a podcast about change makers from the Middle East diaspora living in the West, a production of Neda Nobari Foundation. She’s also a producer for Origins Stories, a project of Leakey Foundation, about the origins of man. In 2015 the host and lead reporter for The Science of Gratitude, an audio documentary by hosted by Susan Sarandon and distributed on Public Radio International. Peju is a freelance Audio Producer as well as a Production Coordinator with DAT Creative, an audiovisual firm located in Lagos, Nigeria. Peju previously worked within the customer service and hospitality sectors before making the move to audio production.
